I hold a Bachelor of Science in Event Management from the University of Central Florida and bring 9 years of diverse experience in the event industry. My career began in creative corporate event design, where I crafted everything from elaborate themed receptions at renowned venues like The Broadmoor and Gaylord Rockies, to exclusive after-hours events at Universal's Diagon Alley, and corporate functions at the Olympic Training Center. It wasn’t until I planned my own wedding in March of 2023 that I discovered my true passion for wedding planning—and I’ve been dedicated to it ever since!
The inspiration for our company name comes from the Netflix series "Sweet Magnolias." The show beautifully embodies collective joy, lifelong friendships, mutual support, and the spirit of celebration—everything couples look forward to on their wedding day.
At Sweet Magnolia Wedding Planning, we're committed to breaking away from the repetitive, cookie-cutter approach to weddings. We believe that relying on the same vendors for every event just to "play it safe" limits creativity and personalization. With so much incredible talent in the wedding industry, it's our job to explore, connect, and ask the right questions to find the perfect vendors for you. Our top priority is making sure your wedding reflects your unique vision, even if it means stepping out of our comfort zone.
